About Us
Greetings to all of you from Branden Otto Auctioneering as we welcome in another Auction Year.
We would like to thank each and every one of our supporters, customers, acquaintances, staff and family for their continued interest in our business. As many of you know, Branden has retired from his 30+ years at General Motors and is even more dedicated to running his auction service. With the coming of this new auction season comes several new ideas and many new challenges. With a lot of thought going into making changes, we are not wanting to lose our personal service to each and every one of you who have come to expect that from Branden & his staff. We want to continue to offer the best service we can and to keep things as simple as we can, yet provide our customers with the answers and services they expect from us. We are always seeking new ideas and suggestions to run this business more efficiently, yet to avoid greater expenses for our customers. Briefly here are some items we want you to know:
Our mailing list is sent to almost 600 addresses and the cost has become quite an expense each time we send them. We will continue sending our auction flyers to each and every one of you who have told us how much you enjoy receiving them. At this time we are asking any of you that could receive our flyers via e-mail to please send us your e-mail addresses to help offset the cost of first class postage. Those e-mail addresses can be sent to branden@ottoauctioneering.com. If you wish to be sent the notifications via e-mail or if you wish to be completely taken off the list, please notify us as quickly as you can.
Our auction service is not considering charging a buyers' premium, and as far as we know we will be the last auction service to ever charge a fee for someone to come and participate at one of our auctions. On the other hand, we have implemented using credit cards into our payment methods and will continue with that service. Please note-all purchases are subject to a fee of 4%, however payments with cash or pre-approved checks will continue to receive their 4% discount.
Lastly, please make note of the success we had during 2007 in offering our expanded Real Estate services to our customers throughout the unsettled Real Estate market. All of the properties offered at auction that were listed last year with Reece & Nichols O'Connor & Associates were sold. Our services are not limited to only auctioning properties, we provide all typical Real Estate services through our affiliation with Debra Chester of the R & N-O'Connor & Associates office in Gardner, KS. Please contact our auction service or Debra, personally, at 913-710-7111 with any Real Estate needs-buying or selling. Current listings can be seen at debrachester.reeceandnichols.com
We are currently scheduling auctions into our upcoming season. To follow our schedule, remember we keep that posted on our website and we will continue to provide the “Upcoming Schedule” display board at our auctions. Once again, thank you for your continued following and support of our auction business and best of wishes to each one of you throughout 2008.
